WMP Excellence Awards

The West Midlands Police Excellence Awards recognise officers, staff and the public who have acted above and beyond the call of duty. Now we need your help to identify individuals and teams who over the last year have made a significant contribution to making the West Midlands a safer place to live, work and visit.

Every hour of every day, the force has a dedicated team of officers, staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to prevent crime, protect communities and offer the hand of friendship to those in need.

The Excellence Awards allows officers, staff, partners and the community the opportunity to recognise and reward West Midlands Police personnel who deliver a service that friends and family would be proud of.

If you know of a deserving police officer, PCSO, police staff, special constable, volunteer or team who deserve to be recognised then this is your chance to show what they mean to you. The judges will be particularly looking out for nominees who have embraced the force’s values:

• Service
• Integrity
• Compassion
• Professionalism
• Equality, diversity & human rights

A panel of judges from across the force will decide the worthy winners before presenting the awards at the Excellence Awards Ceremony in November 2024.
